Not a lot of history is known about this period, but between the late 1970's and early 80's, the Plaza featured live burlesque shows and exhibited erotic double features, exploitation films and other B-movies. Following renovations, the theatre was purchased by George LeFont and transformed into the arthouse Plaza Theatre in 1983... at least that's what we think.
